Speaking of unhealthy food of your diet, even food that is beneficial to your health often become detrimental if taken in excess. Of course, this doesn’t apply only to food, but almost everything. Sufficient rest

Make sure you are well rested before facing the world! A good sleep can keep you energised and focused through the day, but also improve your complexion and make you look younger! Many have heard about the fact you need 7-8 hours of rest, and that you should attempt to sleep between 8pm to 12am. Of course, that might not always be possible – but some tips to get a good sleep are:-

  1. Set a regular schedule
  2. No heavy meals or caffeine before bed
  3. A hot cup of water or milk before bed

It is said that the early bird catches the worm and every hour of sleep before midnight is worth two after midnight.

Hydrate

Yes, keep yourself well hydrated, especially in Singapore’s hot weather! It’s no surprise that your hydration level has a direct and huge impact on both your beauty and your health. Many beauty products have a focus on hydrating your skin and more; while this might be slightly different from your daily intake of water, the concept is the same. Water is essential to your body’s functions and is also able to flush out toxins, regulate its temperature, hydrate your skin and give you that healthy glow. There is some dispute to exactly how much water your body needs per day, but a general consensus puts it between 8 to 13 cups daily for both sexes.
