Bird’s Nest Soup with Ginseng

Ingredients

Hockhua Bird’s Nest

Chuan Bei (grind into powder)

Eggs

Rock Sugar
40g
Half a glass of Milk or Coconut Milk

Methods

  1. Soak bird’s nest in clean water for 1 hour and simmer for 45 minutes.
  2. Cook rock sugar water used for soaking bird’s nest into sugar syrup. Add Chuanbei powder and milk (or coconut milk) and stir evenly.
  3. Crack eggs in evenly and remove excess bubbles.
  4. Pour bird’s nest into a small pot and add egg mixture, milk (or coconut milk) and rock sugar syrup in slowly. Heat the mixture a little and stir evenly.
  5. Divide mixture into four small bowls and boil for 6 to 7 minutes. Serve cold or hot.

Nourishes the lungs and spleen. Suitable for cough and phlegm.

燕窝川贝炖蛋

福 华 燕 窝

川贝(磨成粉状)
3克
鸡 蛋
4粒
冰 糖
40克
牛奶或椰浆
半杯

制法

  1. 燕窝以清水浸泡1小时后,以慢火炖45分钟,捞 起滤水。
  2. 冰糖以燕窝水(半杯)煮成糖水后,加入川贝粉和牛 奶(或椰浆)搅匀。
  3. 蛋打匀,去泡。
  4. 把燕窝放进小锅里,徐徐倒入蛋液、牛奶(或椰浆) 、冰糖液略加热搅匀。
  5. 再分成4小碗炖6-7分钟即成。可冷、热吃。

润肺养颜,健脾益气,也适合常咳多痰,胃口欠佳的儿童吃,老 人虚弱咳嗽亦有帮助。
